Christian Woodford

Owner / Director

Christian Woodford’s has coached hundreds athletes from a wide variety of sports over 10+ years. Christian’s specializes in athletic strength and power development which has been built from years of theoretical knowledge, including an honors in exercise neuroscience coupled with thousands of hours of real world practical application including assisting the head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Maryland University. Jay Ellis

Manager (Moorabbin)
Senior Performance Coach

With a masters degree in ‘sports science and strength and conditioning’, coupled with extensive experience at local football clubs (VFL, TAC Cup) and hands on experience at NCAA Div 1 college, North Carolina State (Football) Jay Ellis is one of WSSC’s most well rounded experienced coaches. To learn more about Jay and/or get coached by him click below.

Jarrad Kay

Senior Performance Coach

Jarrad Kay is heavily involved in orchestrating high performance programs both internally and externally with junior sporting clubs and schools. Additionally he has diverse experience coaching a variety of individuals/groups at our Moorabbin center including a many AFL Draft Picks, #1 2016 AFL draft pick Andrew Mcgrath included. To learn more about Jarrad and/or get coached by him click below.

Anthony Stubbs

Senior Performance Coach

Anthony, or ‘Stubbzy’ as he’s commonly known has worked his way through the ranks to occupying various roles at WSSC as former Director and Senior/Head Performance Coach at WSSC Casey and former manager of Moorabbin. Jason Davies

Manager (Casey)
Senior Performance Coach

Jason Davies managers and has a heavy hand in running the groups, athletes and programs at our Casey facility. During his time completing his degree in Exercise and Sports Science. he expanded his knowledge by spending 1 year of his degree on student exchange programs at the University of Massachusetts (Boston) and West Virginia University. Matt Witbreuk

Director of WSSC Online Coaching

While Matt Witbreuk now runs our online coaching service he has comprehensive experience coaching as the the director of our former WSSC West facility and has hands on coaching and work experience in the AFL, having worked in Sport Science at Essendon FC as well as having multiple roles in Division 1 VAFA (Victorian Amateur AFL) and Division 1 Big V (Victorian) Basketball. To learn more about Matt and/or get coached by him click below.

Jessica Fantone

Performance Coach

Jessica Fantone is very passionate about women’s health and fitness, and as a result she runs many women’s one on ones and groups at our Moorabbin facility. Brett Cranage

Performance Coach

Brett Cranage has a Bachelors Double Degree in Exercise Science & Sport Management and an Honours in AFL Recovery Strategies. With the findings from his honors Brett is beginning to implement the findings into his work at WSSC with a high focus placed on ensuring athletes are at their physical peak both in the lead up to, and immediately after competition. To learn more about Brett and/or get coached by him click below.

Alexander Sandalis

Alexander got into the industry after moving away from competitive basketball after competing in the US. Since 15 years old he has always possessed a deep curiosity for the human body and how to optimize it for performance. Today, he has completed a two diplomas, undergone an internship at NBL club Melbourne United learning under former head of Athletics Australia Eric Hollingsworth, is a qualified yoga teacher and is currently completing his Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science. To learn more about Alexander and/or get coached by him click below.

Tom’s mission at WSSC is to strive to improve the standard of sports rehabilitation in Melbourne for all athletes with sporting injuries. He is the coordinator of all rehabilitation programs at WSSC and lives his passion on his chest for helping athletes overcome their injuries and get back to sport.
